Permaculture Courses & Retreats

With the goal to share our knowledge and help you take the next step in your permaculture journey, we have created courses and retreats to inspire, educate and unite on what we like to call the Bloom Revolution. If you’re curious to get a taste of what permaculture is all about there is a two day Introduction to Permaculture course which we run during several weekends in various locations across the UK. To dive in deeper there is the residential Permaculture Retreat that we hold at a beautiful venue in Portugal nestled amongst a sustainable vineyard.

Why Learn Permaculture?

Permaculture is a design approach that teaches us how to live in harmony with nature – by working with natural systems, not against them. It combines traditional wisdom with modern science to create sustainable ways of growing food, building community, and regenerating the land. But permaculture isn’t just for farmers or gardeners – it’s for anyone who wants to live more intentionally, reduce their impact, and be part of positive change.

Permaculture is grounded in three core ethics: Earth Care, People Care, and Fair Share. These simple but powerful principles shape how we grow our food, build our homes, care for the land, and connect with each other. Learning permaculture offers more than just practical skills – it invites a shift in perspective. You begin to see how every part of life is connected, and how thoughtful design can create systems that are abundant, resilient, and regenerative.

As you learn, you’ll gain tools to create thriving gardens, nourish healthy soil, harvest water wisely, reduce waste, and live more lightly on the Earth. But more than that, you’ll discover how to build a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and aligned with your values – one that supports not only your own well-being, but also contributes to the health of your community and the planet as a whole. Permaculture is about creating the conditions for life to flourish – for yourself, those around you, and the generations to come.

In a time of climate uncertainty, disconnection, and burnout – permaculture offers hope. Whether you’re starting with a balcony or a backyard, a classroom or a community, permaculture gives you the tools to make meaningful, lasting change – for yourself and the world around you. Explore our courses to dive deeper into permaculture and gain practical skills you can start using right away.
